Where feelings go to die
After having spent a large part of their life consumed in feelings, one day you wake up bone dry with no emotions. You ask yourself, where do feelings go when they die? You conclude that maybe the vapours of your youth took them and left you here with absolutely no reside. Wiped clean, like a house guest, that cleaned up well after they left your home. The towels are discarded in the wash basket, the train tickets neatly disposed of in the trash and even the bedding folded in so perfectly, that you'd just have to barely struggle to make them fit into your storage cupboard. It's like your guest never visited, but somewhere you feel that stale aftertaste of wine drunk last night and there's a slight throb in your head, but it's mostly numb - much like you're feelings.
